Yuri Zatarain is back to the local exhibition spaces

The exhibition “Tú, yo y tu otro yo”, from the fine artist born in Sinaloa, México, Yuri Zatarain, will be opened this next Tuesday at 20:15 hrs., in a private ceremony.

The exhibition is formed by 35 paintings and 13 sculptures that together describe a love story and its scenes, which are part of a story that will possibly become a book in 2012.

The recent work of the painter is presented in the National Chamber of Commerce (CANACO) of Guadalajara. This love story, which is the main ingredient of the works of the artist, started to invade Yuri Zatarain’s artistic offering seven years ago and has been part of several collections that have as main characters a couple and a god.

“The god will take the young lady to the pond of truth, that gives something and takes something away”, declares Zatarain, who points out that this part of the story will be present during the whole current year in his work. One of the plans of the artist is making a sculpture of the pond and exhibiting it by the end of 2011.
